They provide good support for being on your feet a lot, and they have protected my feet from stubbing/injury/water. “These Chelsea rain boots are amazing! I bought them before my move to Normandy, France, where it rains almost every single day in the winter. After nearly three months, these are now the only shoe I wear-hiking, working, walking at least 8,000 steps each day.With blowing wind and rain, my feet have always stayed dry. The exception to waterproof is when stepping in puddles that reach the stretchy fabric on the side.I will say the support is not the best, but for the price of these boots, I can wear insoles. Months of daily wear and no seams have opened up. These are a fabulous value and do not require the breaking-in period of many boots.”
