“I got the yellow boots, and they certainly grab people‘s attention! These are my fourth pair of these type of chelsea rain boots, each from different brands, and these are actually my favorite so far. The first two boots I bought in past years past ATE UP my ankles/heels, and I knew I needed to wear pants I could tuck in or long socks while breaking the boots in, or suffer the worst blisters ever. These did NOT do that. It felt like a miracle. They didn't need any time at all to break them in. The inner seams were free of the bothersome glue that tends to be the specific detail that kills me.Another way that they're more comfortable is through the width. Some other styles/brands, that get advertised with practically identical marketing pics (so it's almost impossible to tell which is which, yippee) get pretty slender closer to the pads of the feet. I would say I have regular to slightly wide feet (I've never NOT fit into shoes bc of width- maybe just feel squeezed, if anything), and other types of these chelsea rain boots make me feel like I'm getting really constricted, like I'm trying to reshape my feet. But these aren't too tight for me at all.If you KNOW you have extremely wide feet, these might not be as good of a fit for you- can't say! But it's better than others out there. The color on the pic is correct. The shoes are VERY bright yellow, have a matte finish, clean up easily, and haven't let in any water. Get some for yourself!”
“I work at a used car dealership and our lot floods when it rains or snows. These boots have been perfect for walking around in the water and mud when that happens. I did have to add an additional insole & arch supports for my own comfort, and the shoes accommodated the additions. Right out of the box, the shoes were snug, but after wearing them for a few days, they stretched right out. They are also quite easy to get on. I‘m very please with them.”
“I‘ve gotten a lot of compliments for these boots; they look just like the photos. They are a little large for me height-wise (there is a huge gap between the top of my foot and the top wall of the boot which makes them a bit awkward to walk in), but with thicker socks that might help. They did give me a nasty blister on my ankle, but I think if you wear long socks or have long enough pants it should be fine.”
