“I bought these boots for a trip to Italy during the rainy season, hoping they would be good for wet days and heavy walking days.In regards to being waterproof, they’re great! They kept my feet dry almost every day. The boots do have a pretty open ankle, so if it’s raining so hard that your legs get soaked (like it did for me one day), water can drip down your legs into the shoe. Otherwise, I was usually the only person with dry shoes and socks on my trip.In regards to comfort, they are okay. Based on other reviews, I bought a pair of separate insoles, which majorly increased comfort and arch support. It was easy to remove the insoles that come with boots and place new ones in. With a new pair of insoles, these boots were mostly great for walking around (I walked in them for 5+ miles some days). If it is cold, these boots don’t do a lot for warmth, so I wore a good pair of wool socks on colder days. On the days when I walked more, my toes did hurt a bit at the end of the day, but I also have a history of toe issues, so this may just be my problem. If you are wearing shorter socks the boots do rub your ankle a bit.Overall, really happy with this purchase.”
“The insole of my right shoe came loose and fell out within less than 5 days of use. I was able to just superglue it back in, but now I‘m worried the right one will fall out. These run a little small, but not too bad. The sole feels like it's pretty thin and I can feel the floor well while walking. Keeps water out well, but also keeps water in well. :( If you get water in your shoes (and for some reason I keep doing that when it rains) you'll be walking with water in your boots all day and you'll have perpetually wet socks.Tl;dr - I'm not sure I'd buy them again, but they're useful in a pinch.”
“These boots are so comfortable and they last through a lot of wear! I wore them everyday in the spring, fall, and winter before I finally had to buy some more. They are the perfect rainboots!”
