“So, I put these on and I felt like my feet went swimming inside them. Happily, the insoles are not glued in and come out easily. I had some super thick wool insoles (think name brand popular furry boots that rhyme with rug) that I was not using, and I popped those into these boots and now they fit perfectly and are lusciously comfortable. I excitedly went puddle stomping and my feet were cozy and dry. Plus, with the wool insoles they didn‘t get sweaty in the rubber boots. They do have a wider shaft than many ankle boots. I tried to post a downward picture to show the shaft opening. If you have a thicker ankle, I think these would still work. I have an average width foot, and these were a smidge wide until I replaced the insole. These would work for many foot shapes. After getting these boots totally wet, I still had good traction. Even after moving to dry surfaces the traction was still good. The bottom of the boot wiped mostly clean on a rug as well. They are lightweight and easy to wear. I just feel happy in these. I feel like I am walking on sunshine even on a rainy day. I am really impressed.”
“I love these boots. They are comfortable and fit as expected. I would wear them all the time as I transition into the eccentric old lady period of my life.”
“The insole of the left boot started scrunching up on the heel shortly after I started wearing them, becoming really uncomfortable to walk on and eventually fell out completely. I tried fixing it with some double-sided tape and not only did that not work but it damaged the inside of the shoe! Having to purchase some separate insoles which I never do and hopefully those will not scrunch up! Really annoyed :/”
“Versatile- casual shoewear to work, doing errands, and even hiking or yard work outside. Inexpensive pair of boots for great quality. Keep in to be aware of the top of the boots may run your ankles, but wearing longer socks takes care of that issue.”
