These basic black rain boots would suffice for running from the car into the supermarket in the rain. I returned them because I was concerned the top of the bootie would rub the front of my shin with friction when I go for longer walks in the neighborhood/public transit commute. I ended up trading up to a mid calf length made by a well known brand (which were more cozy with a thicker heel).

I like it so far, only worn it 1 or 2 times. I can‘t believe it's a rain boot, looks dressy.

Just received today. I’m super pleased. They seem super comfy, stylish, and most important, waterproof! As you can see from the pic, I submerged in water (not above black elastic in ankle) and stayed completely dry inside.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, fit, and look of these rain boots. They‘re nice looking enough to wear when it's not raining, too. They look more like faux leather than rubber. I think they're a great value for the price. They did have a rubbery chemical smell when I first got them, but I left them out on the patio overnight to air out and they're fine now. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Recommendation: As others have mentioned, wear them with long crew or knee-high socks to protect your lower calves from possible irritation.
