“These basic black rain boots would suffice for running from the car into the supermarket in the rain. I returned them because I was concerned the top of the bootie would rub the front of my shin with friction when I go for longer walks in the neighborhood/public transit commute. I ended up trading up to a mid calf length made by a well known brand (which were more cozy with a thicker heel).”

I think they're a great value for the price. They did have a rubbery chemical smell when I first got them, but I left them out on the patio overnight to air out and they're fine now. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Recommendation: As others have mentioned, wear them with long crew or knee-high socks to protect your lower calves from possible irritation.”
