“2ND UPDATE: There is absolutely no tread on these boots. If you hit a patch of ice, you WILL skid down the stairs like pro skater Tony Hawk with a 60% or less chance of sticking the landing.UPDATE: Inside is still completely dry after trekking through a couple of inches of snow. Feet are cold, don‘t get me wrong, and there isn't much grip for ice, but the boots have defeated the snow. Can’t attest to water resistance, but it fit perfectly and looks sharp. Slip-on is a definite plus.”
“I bought these boots for a trip to Scotland. They were very comfortable and completely kept out the water on the rainy days. I would definitely buy them again!”
“I am a poor college student who doesn‘t like wet shoes and socks, so I was looking for a cheap and simple (for fashion reasons) water resistant shoes. These fit the bill, during light to mild rains they've held up, though when it gets to be heavier I wish for my taller boots because water will get in them. For walking my campus (which is very large), they're not great on the feet, but some shoe pads will be able to fix that problem. You get what you pay for and that's the truth with these.”
