I'm 79 years young, and I bought the BIOmax 450 in hopes it would improve and strengthen my Thin skin over time.
My experience with "PlatinumLED" Customer Service, Before the sale and after the sale, was GREAT! They either answered the phone or Returned my calls very Quickly, answering all my questions.
I purchased the BIOmax 450 because it is "Wider" than others, (more lights per row) providing better coverage. Plus, IMO uses the better technology, mutiple frequencies and intensity. So far I'm Very happy with this panel and the digital timer controller works great. The door hanging device works great for me, being able to raise or lower the panel as needed. However, the pulley release mechanism is rather difficult to use

“I’ve had 22 years of nightly insomnia and have tried everything under the sun, both natural and traditional medical. 20 minutes in front of my Biomax 450 before bed works better than Ambien, which is the only other thing that has helped me sleep. “The BioMax 450 is a solid, well-made unit. It provides the light intensity, wavelengths, and coverage I was looking for. I have no negative observations about the unit itself.
I purchased two units to mount on a Horizontal Stand, which is reviewed elsewhere. Not having used the BioMax with other than the Horizontal Stand, I cannot comment on the use of the other hardware mounting components or methods.
The instructions do not accurately reflect the actual control panel operation, but with a little thought, setup is not difficult.
The Platinum LED App is of questionable value. It is little more than a digital copy of the printed user manual that accompanies the unit.”
Hello Michael! The user's manual is a very detailed and exact guide with regards to control panel operation which even includes full-color diagrams for each screen. We're more than a little perplexed regarding your comment that the manual somehow does not reflect the actual operation as we have never, ever heard this before! “I have tested out and enjoyed many therapy lights, most have their benefits. For efficiency, I think PlatinumLED is the best. It is not the quietest, although, for LED it is quiet. The energy is very powerful and worth a try. The best part about this light is that it stays relatively cool while throwing out amazing benefits. The picture is with some smoke from a palo santo wood.”
“The thing I like the most is that it has all light ranges so I get max benefit. I also appreciate that I can cover so much area in one sitting. The light is super-high quality and I can tell it will last a very long time. It would be great to have a stand that hangs the light horizontally so I can lay down while I use it.”
