“I have bought 2 biomax 900 (I already had 2 bio 450). Sturdy well-finished panels. The Biomax 900 has a much brighter (blinding. Use of eye protection) radiation than the bio 450 (at equal distances). The built-in timer and selection menu works well. There is a considerable difference in radiation between the panels themselves (between the two Bio 450 and the two biomax 900 (approximately 15%). To know how much joule you receive, it is wise to measure the radiation from each panel yourself and not to take the brochure as a starting point.”
“I can't fault this light, it's sturdy and easy to use, high quality and has great output and variety of spectrum. Im still a bit confused about dosing for different purposes though... I feel like Platinum LED could definitely improve their app and support in this area so we knew more about time/distance required for desired outcomes.”

“I purchased the BIOMAX-450 and had some initial doubts about my decision because PlatinumLED offered more intensity and coverage at a lower cost than the leading well known LED Red-Light therapy device. I wasn’t sure if PlatinumLED had to cut corners to offer quality….and much to my surprise surpassed my expectations on quality. The BIOMAX-450 hit the sweet spot in terms of price and amount of therapy coverage it offered for my needs. You get more with the BIOMAX compared to the similar competitors unit. The hardware unit is well built....no gaps between parts, everything fitted tightly. Its also over engineered to take on being moved by the door pully hanger. Its solid. PlatinumLED also manufactures other LED lights for used for indoor plant farming, and their experience manufacturing LED lights shines through.
The electronic menu to control the timer and light type ( red and or IR ) is very easy to use and remembers the last setting.
The only inconvenience is that the on/off switch is in the back and requires some extra effort to reach around and turn off the unit after usage, but not a deal breaker.
From a therapy perspective, it seems that the BIOMAX-450 has the right sets of Red and IR light wave-lengths. I’m personally discovering it addresses many of the health conditions Red/IR light is known to tackle in the short time I've had the unit.”
