“They are certainly built well, great product. I have just started using them daily so cannot tell you if Red Light Therapy actually works, but if it does, these may be the best lights to use. Very good Red Lights”
“So I purchased the Biomax 900 last November. My purchase was based off of research and Ari Whitten's book as well as Alex Fergus's blogs - though Alex's full review and recommendation came out after my initial purchase. I haven't any experience with other red light devices or companies, but I was definitely impressed with this unit, very study, solid, and well built. The unit ships double boxed, and the inner box is almost like a carry case if you need to move around. All the accessories are included including hardware to hang from the door, cords etc so you don't need to get anything else. Even the user manual is a well printed, quality booklet. Customer service has been great too. My decision was also influenced by the fact that Platinum has been doing this for many years, making LED panels for greenhouses etc I think - so they are not some newcomer just trying to capitalize on a fad. And I do like the additional wavelengths that they offer and it seems like you get more for your time & money with that feature.
I have been using the unit once or twice per day, about 12 - 15 minutes each. To be honest, I am not totally confident I have the "dosing" totally dialed in as it is possible to overdo it per what I have read. But so far this has worked for me. As to benefits, I noticed decreased joint pain and some skin improvements. Other changes are hard to pin down, but I am confident that there are benefits that may not be obvious and which will accrue over time.
In March I purchased the Biomax 450 to add to the 900 to make a full body treatment (I'm 6'4"). I love how the units are totally modular and go together easily, again all the cables & hardware are included. You can control both units from the "main" unit which is nice. If money were no object I would probably buy more since even the 900/450 are not quite wide enough to cover my whole body & sides.
The only other thing I would add is that you DO want to make sure other aspects of your life are under control before getting into this. If you are not sleeping or have a poor diet you should tackle those first - red light is not a miracle cure! But I am optimistic about the health benefits that red light has to offer, and Platinum gets my vote as being the way to go.”

“I received my Biomax 900 11-1-19 and I use it every morning before work for 20 min front and 20 mins back I’m 6’2 so it does cover well I have noticed it helps with my lower back pain and my skin has definitely improved I mainly got it to help with a work related injury and knew it had other benefits like skin health it’s definitely an investment and commitment you need to use it to experience the benefits and give it time it does help me get through the day, definitely helps with
Inflammation I had a little eczema and the light along with some skincare has taken care of my issue which I’ll note wasn’t too extreme or severe it helped Healing when I stubbed my toe on a chair , toe was so purple I kept using the light on my foot and along with some good massage it did heal pretty fast I have noticed better sleep as well I can’t do it at night so I keep my sessions in the am I use both red and ir together I haven’t just tried one or the other alone Overall I’m happy with it I just seen the horizontal stand and am curious of all the features it’s tempting to be able to lay in bed and use the unit so I am eyeing that and thought about a table top version to add for the chest up treatments While possibly sitting at my desk or table so I’m happy enough to be contemplating another purchase”
