“The light itself is well made, and easy to operate. It hangs from a door in our bedroom that is in reach of an outlet. The phone app only gives you another timer (which is already built into the light) - but there really isn’t the depth of information on dosing that is beneficial. We ended up purchasing Ari Whitten’s Red Light Therapy which goes into more detail of dosing. While there are claims that RLT has no major side effects, you can get very fatigued if you take in large doses too quickly. My personal experience after using the product for 20 minutes (the timer was preset there). The next day I was knocked over. More is not better in this case. Do your own research before getting too far down the road. Definitely the right device in terms of size and power.”
“I had my doubts as I've been looking for something to help my mood, anxiety, energy levels, insomnia, and ADHD for over a decade including homeopathic medicine/oils, alkalizing foods, alternative medicine, nootropics, white light therapy, blue light therapy, various amino acids/vitamins, and more...and this is the only one that consistently works with minimal side effects. Even just doing 5 min a day for each side (front and back). And my mood is way better, and I have equivalent energy levels I only had after power walking 20 min/day. My insomnia hasn't been helped, but the best part is my ADHD. It has lowered my levels so that I've been able to cut my medicine from 45 mg to 25 mg. Taking my previous dosage made me feel way overmedicated. Anything that allows me to take less prescription medicine is a win in my book and easier on my GI system. Additional benefits I've had that I wasn't expecting was scar reduction on my mini tummy tuck and a permanent scar I had on my knuckles from falling on a curb. They are smoother and less noticeable than before. Also I got a 40-60% increase on my typical workout 3 sets of 8 (my 50 pound rows increased to 80 pounds) and a 70 % increase on my one rep max (70 pounds to 120 pounds). Definitely not expecting that. Doing my previous workouts didn't leave me minimally sore and I felt no soreness the next day. Increasing my weights by 40-60% finally resulted in my muscles being as sore as I would've normally felt from a typical workout. Obviously, everyone's results will vary and please please listen to your body and do not over-exert yourself. But this has been my result after a month of using this 10 minutes a day for 4-5 days a week.”
