The angle can be adjusted to any direction up down left right, tilt... and can be mounted right side up or upside down (switch the collar to be on the other end of the pole). Be sure your table or surface can safely support the weight. Tensions can be adjusted, and have stayed put after the first time adjustment. Very satisfied.”
