“I love my PlatinumLED BioMax units, and very much appreciate having this stand to support my 2 full-sized units. It is ideal for 4 full-sized units, and very usable for 2 full-sized units BUT when using 2 units, the mounting bracket extends beyond the units themselves… I do wish a smaller mounting bracket was offered for 2-unit mounting.
This stand is a must-have for mounting 2 or 4 full-sized BioMax units and I recommend it 100%. It is VERY stable and sturdy and solidly constructed. I give it 4 vs 5 stars only because when using 2 full-sized units the mounting bracket extends beyond the BioMax units significantly - there really should be a mounting bracket available for only 2 (vs 4) full-sized BioMax units!”
“I purchased to mobile stand to hold my BIOMAX 900, which I purchased for the 1/2 body coverage area - wanting the 900 to cover me from the top of my head down to roughly mid-thigh. When I mounted the 900 onto the stand I wanted to use the highest stand setting since I am 6' tall. I discovered, to my dismay, that when the 900 is mounted on the highest setting the electrical outlet is blocked by the stand's support structure. I then had to lower the 900 to the next highest setting, meaning it is now roughly 6" lower than I need it. As a result, I need to crouch down during my sessions to get the maximum benefit from the 900 - not a pleasant experience.
The positive part of the stand is it is very sturdy. It is intended to support multiple devices so it certainly meets my need for a single 900.”
Hi Gary! This is easily remedied by changing the position of the support bracket on the light! Since you may change not only the height of the stand but the position of the bracket on the light, you have the ability to put the light at any height that you would like while always maintaining outlet accessibility.
