“The controller is like-new. The only nit pick is that the L3 joy creaks a tiny bit while at the top angles. It still works perfectly, so no worries for now. I was lucky enough that this refurb was offered as a replacement for my controller that failed after 18 months of heavy use. It was a pain to work with two different groups at Backbone to finally get the refurb replacement, though. Not a peasant experience, but didn’t take THAT long and it all worked out in the end.”

“My original backbone stopped functioning. I contacted the manufacturer and they instantly responded and offered a refurbished backbone. Totally blown away by the item that I received. Works great and couldn’t tell that it wasn’t brand new. Great Job!! Def will recommend this product to anyone.”

“I am so impressed by this company! Not just saying that I promise. There controller is awesome and has helped me enjoy games I would not have otherwise. My controller broke and I was on the Reddit looking to see if people had found a way to possibly fix it and one of the Backbone Support people sent me a link to contact them about the warranty. I did as they said, and at that time I told them that I was pretty sure it’s been over a year they told me to file still. I found the receipt and filed the claim and was denied on a repair, which is what they knew was going to happen, but they had fully refurbished units and they took one of those and sent it to me. After I checked my receipt, it had been just under a year and a half I think. And they still helped me and asked for nothing in return. So if that is not the definition of an awesome company with fantastic support that I don’t know what is . To be fair when I started posting stuff on the Reddit form, I never went in, expecting to get anything for free. I am used to repairing my own stuff and that was what I was setting out to do. Thank you Backbone!! And in case anybody was wondering I have had the refurbished one for close to a month now. And it works great.”
