The product sinks and my fish are happier & healthier. I've used other brands that state the pellets sink, just to find out they don't. They work well for my medium and larger fish, and the food debris is minimal compared to traditional floating pond pellets.

Not a ton of sinking pellet options out there. Really happy with this formula! Will buy again!

I need a sinking food for my koi in a pond. This works well and doesn't get sucked up by the pump/filter.

My oversized Koi really like this food. The fact that I have some VERY large Koi this gives the others a good chance to eat. They prefer this food over what I had been feeding them.

My koi love the food. They are very large and climb over each other to get food. The sinking pellets give other fish a chance. I will definitely be ordering more. The koi seem to prefer this food over what I had been feeding. Thankfully I found your company.

Although I have a 2600 gallon pond, it is rather deep and does not have an overly large surface area. I have a waterfall at one end, and a skimmer opposite. The problem with most fish food is that it floats. This means even if I throw the food in at or near the waterfall, it takes only a minute or two before the fish food is being sucked into my skimmer (a waste of food and money). Enter Microbe Lift Legacy Sinking Pellets. Firstly, the pellets become waterlogged and begin to sink before they make there way into the skimmer. This makes them available for the fish and keeps my skimmer clear. Next Microlift bacteria was developed to help clean water. Most foods cause water to become dirty. The bacteria in the food is actually beneficial to the fish's digestive tract AND to the pond water itself! I used this product all last year for my koi and goldfish with no issues. I highly recommend it!

So, last year after replacing a liner from inherited pond that a former owner put in, I had bought a skimmer (which the pond has always lacked). This skimmer was so good at cleaning the surface of the pond, that my standard floating fish food would be immediately get sucked into the skimmer before the fish could eat it. I hit up Ben at Play it Koi who suggested this food. Not only do the fish love it, but the food sinks slowly enough to allow the fish to come up and eat it and keep it from being sucked into the skimmer. Further the food has beneficial bacteria formulated into the food that is good for the guts of goldfish and koi. I have 20 odd medium sized-goldfish and bought two 3-pound containers. I am anxious to see how well the fish do this season with this food. So far, so good!
