“I can’t leave a review for how this works on fish, but I can for chickens. This is my second time using this and I will always use it when it comes to bumblefoot. The first hen, I performed surgery and dug out the infection then soaked every other day for 7 minutes and it healed nicely within 7 days. This time I didn’t perform surgery and I hope it works on my rooster. He already has a hole that’s about the size of a q-tip so I didn’t want to take a scalpel to him. I will use the same method and I have faith that this will work. It’s a must buy!”

“I used this product on a chicken with a bumble foot infection (staph infection). I had a protocol for bumblefoot since I used to have a girl that would get chronic bumblefoot. I stumbled upon a chicken site talking about this product and how it cleared up the infection without more invasive intervention. Chicken infections (puss) are hard like a kernel. Normally this would involve cutting it out or soaking and using salves while wrapping, over time, to get the kernel out. I dipped our girls foot every day for 4 weeks and this stuff worked wildly well. You can't even tell she had an infection on her foot. Bumblefoot looks like large hard round black scabs on the outside. Her foot bed looks very healthy with nice soft tissue. This product is expensive but I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to use more invasive interventions or doesn't want to soak, pack, and warp their foot daily. The small packet made enough for 4 weeks worth. I only needed to do the full 4 weeks because this was a more advanced infection. If you could catch it early, you would need a significantly shorter amount of time.”

“The product is expensive, its a pain to use, and the koi don't like the treatments - BUT THE STUFF WORKS! It took care of issues I wasn't even aware the koi had. Great stuff!”

“I received exactly what I purchased, in good condition; However, I chose to pay $8 shipping to receive it in 2 days, as opposed to the other option of $4 shipping for 3 day delivery. Normally I would not care about paying DOUBLE my shipping cost just to receive something one day sooner. But I was purchasing this antibiotic to treat staph infection on my chicken’s feet. This is a quickly progressing ailment, and one day can mean a matter of life or death. I had to wait three days for my order. If I would have known it wasn’t going to come a day sooner than expected, I wouldn’t have paid double in shipping! I’m not sure if this was due to negligence on the company’s part, or if it was UPS’ fault. Either way, it was frustrating to say the least. The product I purchased is supposed to work really well for treating early stage Bumblefoot in chickens, but I’m not sure that we started treatment in time. I ordered the product the day after I first noticed symptoms. No sign of improvement. We shall see what happens. I would order from Play it Koi again. But not in a time sensitive situation. More so to stock up on product that I may need in the future.”
