We bought this tap with our utility in mind for the house we were just buildingIt goes above a Belfast style sink with the intention of washing our errant dog. It has proved sufficient for the task, flexible and adjustable spray. All who have seen it are impresses.

Was a bit surprised when it arrived at how bulky it looked but it was very light and easy to fit and I've now got used to the size. In fact I saw a virtually identical one in a kitchen, in a drama on the TV, and it looked fine. I would think that the walls are much thinner than the taps that I've been used to but that is an advantage to reduce the weight. The pull-out spray seems to go back fairly well and can always be pushed back into place, if necessary. This works by means of a counter-weight on the hose under the sink. This sprayer is a great advantage when cleaning down the draining board and rinsing plates before putting them in the dishwasher. Our kitchen tap is gravity-fed, so the pressure is low and this makes the spray not as powerful as it could be. But we knew that before we bought it and chose it because it would work at this pressure, whereas some other spray taps would only work with a high-pressure system. We could always install a little pump under the sink, if we wanted a fiercer spray and this is nothing to do with the tap itself. The button on the side is handy to change the flow to the sprayer and I am very pleased with it altogether. It is very good value for the price as, at that price, it could be changed easily when the Guarantee is up, if it's getting furred up - the usual reason why ceramic washers fail these days and taps drip! (A little aside - Why can't we go back to taps with rubber washers that can be changed so easily! - can't find them for love nor money!)
