I bought this shower head to replace a slightly smaller one I had. The shower works off a 2.5 bar Salamander pump so I was expecting the perfect rain shower experience. When I had fitted it the performance was poor so I measured the water flow through the shower head by timing how long it took to fill a 10 litre bucket. My old shower head took 50 seconds this new one took 90 seconds. When I phoned to see what could be wrong they said return it and would only refund if it was faulty. In the mean time I managed to track down the manufacturers, they said there was a flow restrictor fitted underneath the washer/filter in the neck which can be removed with a cross head screwdriver. I removed the restrictor and the shower now works perfectly. There is no mention of this restrictor in the paperwork that comes with the shower head. Although the head is expensive, the build quality looks good and performs well (with the restrictor removed).

Bought a replacement shower head. The flow rate through the it was very poor. Phoned their customer service which could only say return it and if not found to be faulty I would have to pay. I eventually tracked down the manufacturer who said there was a hidden flow restricter which was easily removed. Flush bathrooms didn't seem to know this. No instructions came with the shower head and the manufacturers web site doesn't mention it either.
