There is was... and even the next higher model (horse power) up and cheaper than HD. Plus same day delivery. Score. Easy to install even for someone close to retirement.”
“I purchased this garbage disposal to replace an old one that was leaking. It has performed very well, and was very easy to install. We've had no issues at all. It has more than enough power without being too loud.One thing to note when installing: If you are connecting the dishwasher drain hose to it, be sure to punch out the plastic inside that drain connection. The instructions tell you to do so, but I did not bother to read them, as a result, my dishwasher could not drain. There's a solid piece of plastic that blocks that connection and you need to punch out with a hammer and screwdriver.”
“Fits in same place as the 7 year old unit that it replaced. Did not have to change the sink fitting. It is much noisier than the older unit. Not happy with it. Would have sent it back but I already installed it. Recommend you pay a little more for quieter unit.”
