Our home has a gas-boiler hot-water basement heating system with five zones. Each zone has its own valve controlled by a thermostat. Every so often a zone valve control head stops working (wears out??). Fortunately, the system does not have to be drained of water to replace the entire valve. The "head," which opens/closes the valve, is attached externally to the valve body and held in place by a couple of screws. Although I am not a plumber or electrician I have come by experience to recognize the problem when a thermostat is simply unresponsive and the valve stays open or closed no matter what temperature I set on the thermostat. So, I usually keep a "spare" new valve head (made by Honeywell) in my utility room and use it to replace the "dead" one, and thus far have had success in solving the problem. So, to keep a spare valve or two on hand,The service has always been very prompt, efficient, and reasonably priced. From my experience, I would be pleased to recommend to anyone needing a product they sell.
