“I’ve had many types of shower heads over the years. Recently, one of them was getting stained so I began looking for not only a replacement, but the “best” replacement. Enter this item.At first glance you might get sticker shock looking at the price. Yes, it’s expensive. Moreover, you will likely need to replace your shower arm (and should) since this head sprays water in a straight direction. It’s rain shower head and you want the water to fall right over and onto you so plan on getting a good curved shower area too, and they are not cheap either!Now, I’m about to give you a major tip before you install this item or trust me that you will be taking it off later to do what I’m about to tell you. Grab a pair of needle nose pliers and look inside the threaded area in the head that connects to the shower arm. Grab the green piece (it has several ribs that you can grab) with the needle nose pliers and pull it out. This piece is a water restrictor that makes the water pressure REALLY low, ridiculously low. With that piece removed the water pressure is awesome! You’ll thank me later. I tried it with the water saver installed but knew I was not going to like it but gave it a shot anyway.This is a quality shower head and I definitely recommend it.”
“This is a fantastic product. It was on sale during plumbingsupplyandmore Prime Days and I had been looking to update my Rain Shower Head. This Moen product is awesome. The volume of water that comes out is amazing. It is a nice strong stream. If you need more giddy up in your shower flip the switch and the cone of water comes from the center area and is much stronger. Great for washing soap out of long hair or getting the grime off after working in the yard. Easy installation and a quality made product.”
