“Nice looking shower head. Color is more on the goldlish side of brushed nickel than a silver tone. Some of the Moen line has a gold tone in the brushed nickel, some have more of a silver tone. So beware that it might not match or might match perfectly. The shower itself is a *very* soft rain fall, and the lever makes it into a harder stream. However, when the harder stream is chosen, the bottom half of the soft rain leaks water out. Not sure if this is normal but I rotated it all around and can't find a way to make it stop. I suppose it's not a big problem. Overall for me the rain selection was too soft and felt almost like a trickle of water. And I have a solid 70-75 psi of pressure.”
“Good Shower head. To increase flow you only need to remove the tiny black washer part of the flow restrictor. No need to remove the green plastic part (which is very difficult). This seems to nearly double the water flow.”
“This a handsome shower head.I may need to remove the flow restrictor, though;it is a little weak even when the high output is engaged.Update:Indeed, I removed the entire flow restrictor with needle-nose pliers. (It took about three attempts to both grab the green restrictor and pull it out, as it was fitted tightly.) It was the right move. The high-output delivery now removes shampoo, and the low-output delivery is comforting. My hair -- previously "de-poofed" (shameless lift from Seinfeld) -- is back to nominal.I ultimately ordered three of these, as I thought they were a good investment.”
“Without a doubt, this is the most excellent of showerheads I have ever had the pleasure of standing under!! When the water is turned on, you understand! Of course, after having read many of the reviews before going through with my own purchase, I was careful to try it, first, with the water restrictor in place, and then, without it! My goodness, what a magnificent difference! And of course, the lever gives a second level of showering enjoyment. This showerhead is well worth the $$ spent to own it. “shower head works great. gentle shower flow as well as a harder more direct! best using a longer extension more suited to overhead location. works with standard piping but would work even better more overhad.”
