“I ordered this in September so I could install before the end of October, when I'll need to begin using my Heat. I received this several days before projected arrival. I'm one of those "Handy Man" types. I don't install heating systems, but I am well equipped to service them to an extent. Last year I replaced the auto-exhaust damper. Saved $300 I would have given the "Guy". This L.W.C.O. is the first one I've replaced. It would have cost me between $400-500 to have a plumber install this!!! “Installs quickly and easily. Boiler repair guy had quoted $1150 to replace my existing device and I did this myself for less than $100 and an hour of my time on a Sunday. Do remember to isolate your control circuit at the breaker and double check with a multi-meter before you start. Also remember that the lug in the center of the box needs to be tightened as this is an electrical contact between the probe and the circuit board. (I accidentally left this loose before double checking my work and catching my error.)”
