“I've been using this brand for over 20 years..this particular model for 3 years...for our situation, which is no pets and a retired couple, the filter does easily last 1 year...easy to replace...also some claim that merv 13 is too restrictive and strains the blower motor...that may be true with 1" pleated filters but it is not with the much deeper ones like this one..finally it is made in the US ...”

“These filters are far superior when compared to the generic 413 filters. Unfortunately my last order was for a 4 pack but I only received 1 filter. In the photo the Aprilaire filter on the right side is more plush and pillowy. The left filter is a generic one and feels thinner to the touch.”
