“This item was as expected and a perfect fit for my Aprilaire unit. However the seller shipped the filters in only the original packaging which is non-corrugated cardboard. The boxes were in very bad shape when the filters arrived and I almost returned them. There is not a lot to damage on the filters, but the ends near the box openings were scuffed and dirty. These should have been packed in a corrugated box for shipment.”

A new filter has the house breathing easier within a day -- and it isn't just placebo effect, I've swapped it out without saying anything and the sniffles, sneezes, and commentary about air quality stop!At $45/mo I'm tempted to get a separate air purifier, but that seems wildly redundant since they're just fans with filters on them -- just like my furnace.Kind of a garbage situation, as I'm now pigeon-holed into using these very specific, very expensive filters on my furnace.”
“I purchsed this as it was supposed to be an upgrade to my current Aprilaire 2200 filter. I double checked to make sure the right info was on the web page.However, when it got to my home it would not fit the current filter housing (the combs that separate the folds on the original filter have broken over time so I was hoping that this would be a good change).Since I am handy, and can modify things I made up my own brackets so that this filter would be held in place along the top and bottom (I used some old curtain rods that could be opened slightly to slide in place).If I remember I will upload a photo of the changes I made.This filter is way more robust than the original.”
