“Installed easily into heating system. Will see how durable it is and how well it filtrates. After one month's use, it is doing a great job in filtration.”
“The filters are not the same size as an irobot filter. When installing the filter received it does not fit and the lid is not flush and triggers "empty bin" and the irobot returns to the base after just a few minutes. Someone needs to fix this issue, very frustrating.”
“This is a replacement filter for the April Aire furnace filter rack. Having had an April Aire filter rack for several years, this expandable filter is easier to install than the old comb type filters, where you had to fit about 50 comb slats into each and every fold of the filter - a nightmare. This design is only a bad dream. You still have to align the top and bottom into the slide mechanism, and the trick is you have to put both top and bottom in at the same time - a third hand would be very helpful in that regard, but seldom is there room for two people in a furnace area, including mine. Anyway, enough complaining, this is a good filter, MERV13, which is very effective in eliminating all but the very smallest particulates. There is also a (less effective) MERV 8 filter available - but it is less effective, I tried it and noticed an appreciable increase in the amount of dust in our home. In terms of filtering particulates that may carry viruses, a MERV 13 is the best practical choice. If you are using this filter, there is no need to add a UV or ionization air cleaner that your contractor will try to sell you - the MERV 13 filters gets rid of well over 99% of particulates with proven technology, not some technology that is yet to be proven effective.”
“I had to install one of these as part of the selling process of my first house. I thought it was a petty thing for the lady to ask for but I did it anyways.”
