“This is the standard mixing valve we use for any hydronic board or field application where we need to step down a high temperature supply to a lower temperature application where a fixed setpoint temperature is acceptable. The Union connections make pre-fabrication and later servicing a breeze. It's worth mentioning that we typically use a downstream temperature gauge of some sort in the mixed water supply line to confirm and display the actual output temperature, as no such display is to be found on mixing valves themselves.”
“This is the exact replacement for my boiler tankless coil. It has a wider range temperature 70F-145F setting. my old one lasted only about 5yrs due to hard water and scale buildup internally. only drawback is the adjusting dial without number scale. Other than that it's a high quality valve.”
“Love the check valves to stop Thermosiphoning. Didn't even know the valves were included. Nice. The temperature gauge stops me from running upstairs to check the water temperature. I still did but this eliminated many trips.”
