This valve replaces a tempering valve from Watts. The new mixing valve, (used with a Morflo hot water heater supplying both forced air and baseboard hydronic heat, plus domestic hot water) allows far greater adjustment of water temperature in the dual use system (keeps domestic hot water at exactly 118 degrees as desired). I can run the water heater at 165 degrees for heating while cooling down domestic hot water to 118 degrees. [...]Would recommend this valve for potable hot water system and would recommend Plumbing Supply. Will do business with them again.
