“Installed on water heater. Quality piece adjusted easily and holds temp right where it was set. Thermometer strip matches gauge we installed in outlet line to monitor outlet temps.”
“My old one lasted 25 years, so no complaints there. I thought I could buy just the internals, which they sell separately. Unfortunately that didn't fix it. The inside was corroded and/or calcified, so the piston which adjusts the flow would stick on "cold." No fun when in the shower. Also, the little plastic backflow preventer valves in the two input connections were broken and blocking the flow. Replacing the whole new valve was the answer. When it comes to a hot shower, a long-term fix is always preferable to the half-a$$ed attempt.”
“It replaced one that was 14 years old. I appreciate that the company continues to make equivalent or identical products which improves serviceability. This one has removable check valves inserted in each inlet point if needed.”
“Had a client who's water temperature was 160 Degrees, Original was this one and lasted 19 years, all I had to do was remove the old one and using the new gaskets put this one in, didn't have to remove old soldered on unions since this one is the exact same thing. Always have used these mixing valves, good quality and last a good long time.”
