“We are using this 1 zone switch to regulate the water system radiant floor in a workshop. After struggling with a hacked system, I found this and wow, installed in 10 minutes and it has been running ever since keeping the workshop at the set heat on the thermostat. So easy to install, excellent engineering and look.”
“Sufficient knockouts for pumps and power feed and feed holes for low voltage. Only 2 ground screws on the 120 side for the max of 7 grounds you would need to fully populate the controller. It is difficult to insert the 24v power connections given the location of the transformer (if the transformer was a half inch lower on would have made a huge difference when wiring). Comes with resistors for power stealing thermostats. All connections (including T-stat) except the 24v power has clamp-plate type terminal blocks, which made wiring easy. The 24v power is 2 pole breadboard mounted screw clamp connections that are more difficult to connect to, especially if you want to connect everything to them directly. The same terminal bar connections used elsewhere would have been much appreciated, and the terminal bar for the t-stats could have been of the type used as power and would have been just as easy with the single smaller wires.”
