I'm using this controller to run a water pump for in-floor radiant heat. Works as it should and was an easy install with terminal blocks for wiring and a 24-volt transformer built in to run the room thermostat.

We have 9 zones of heat and use nothing but Taco controls for zone pumps, mixing valves, and zone valve control. They are easy to install, wire, and are nice looking. This purchase was to replace an older SR506 that was about 9 years old. It started having intermittent calls for heat to the boiler. After replacement, I checked the back of the circuit board and found a bad solder joint at the TT terminal. I will fix it and keep it for a backup.... just in case.

I used it for a 2-zone radiant floor, it was nice to be able to wire for 2 zones.

Bumping my system from three zones to ten, this controller was the perfect choice for the master position. Wiring is basic & easy, controls the furnace & four Taco 007-f5 circulator pumps, and (in my system anyway) two Taco 503 relays.
