“I have to admit I had a hard time choosing between the top garbage disposals for the one I wanted to purchase. Seems the insinkerator is by far the most popular and I was pretty much sold on that until I found the waste king and the thousands of loyal followers who swore by that brand. Just before making my final choice between the two, I stumbled across this Moen brand disposal. Working in the trades i know that "moen" is a name synonymous with high quality in the plumbing trade so I was kind of surprised to see this not only in the same price range as the others but actually cheaper. After doing additional research and reaching out to moen I was even more surprised at this low-priceplumbingsupplyandmore has. Evidently, this model is being discontinued. You can do your own checking but take my work this disposal is hands down the best bang for your buck in the under $100 price range. Its cheap because its being discontinued. Get it while its still available. Why not a perfect 5 star? Because it is pretty loud. Louder than my old Kenmore. I think because there is less soundproofing used to keep it small. I will take the additional cabinet space over the quiet. Buying this moen garbage disposal is one of my better purchases as of late. I am super happy to have found this one.”
“We picked this product to preserve as much under-counter space as possible, and it's worked out great in that regard. It's way smaller than the one it replaced and we can get more stuff under the sink.DO NOTE, however, that this is a "grind up the occasional carrot peel that goes down the drain" kind of disposal; not a "shove all of your garbage down the hole" disposal. This is perfect for those incidental kinds of uses, not if you're someone who believes everything should go down the drain.”
