“Best alternative for more hot water and you save money! No complaints and glad I went in this direction. Did a lot of research and this was the choice. I do recommend.”
“All I can say is that this works amazingly well. We got a much bigger bathtub, something like 90 gallons. Our water heater is only 50 gallons and totally couldn't keep up. With the valve I can run a complete bath and water keeps coming out hot no problem. It's a little finicky to adjust and the adjustment mechanism is fragile but if you just follow the included instructions it's easy enough.”
“We can now completely fill our Jacuzzi tub with hot water! This model also includes a thermometer which I found to be very helpful when making temperature adjustments to the outflow. Even if you have almost no plumbing skills, the installation should be quite easy. Good product!Update: Over a period of time, you may notice a decrease in hot water pressure. If this happens, disconnect the Tank Booster at both inputs. Clean and/or replace the screens which will most likely be clogged with sediment and particles. I did this recently and it works!”
“Frankly this should be in every household. Endless hot water, water kept hot enough in the tank to kill bacteria, and it comes out of the tap at 120 degrees which makes it safe for kids. Well made and easy to install with no issues. Do make sure you have a high quality teflon tape on hand to make sure there are no leaks.”
“After adding this to my system, I have not seen any loss in pressure, and the water coming out is maintained at a steady 120 degrees, according to the built-in thermometer (I have my GE heat pump water heater set to 140, which is the highest it would go). That seems to be plenty hot for showers and at taps, and it's nice that the temperature doesn't decrease over time as a shower is used, as it did sometimes before. The only real annoyance to me is how tall it is -- that just made it a little harder to install, because I had to bend the copper connector to the water heater quite a bit to accommodate it, and it kinked a little. But, in the end, it all worked, and it was a smooth install otherwise. It was far easier than if I'd bought a standalone mixing valve and the various fittings and pipes needed!”
