Easy to install. Gives great hot water, but I cannot give 5 stars as my electric bill doubled, so it's not worth the higher electric bill.

This is the exact same unit as the Eco-Smart 36K, so if you see it cheaper, buy that one. DIYers: Rarely draws the full 150amps. I replaced a faulty Ecosmart tankless (lasted 4 years) with the Rheem and they are the exact same. I was originally hoping the Rheem would be more reliable, but apparently, they are manufactured by the same company.

Purchased over a year ago. My house uses a boiler to heat the water. During the winter, due to the way my pipes are laid and the distance to the boiler, one of my bathrooms could not get decent hot water in the shower. I installed this unit to help increase the temperature. Works perfectly. Kids now can take hot showers during the winter and don’t bug me to use my shower. Install was relatively straight forward assuming you’ve done some level of wiring in the past. I do get flickering with some lights in my house while it’s running. It has to be something with the unit, though we’ve lived with it for over a year..it’s not the end of the world. Overall happy with it.

A high quality unit. Runs off one 50A breaker. Not much water throughput. Can just run one shower with low flow shower head. That is good enough for me. The really good feature is that you can run a very slow flow and this rig still regulates the temperature well. That means by lowering the flow, say at a kitchen faucet, you can get very hot water, albeit at a slow flow. MAKE SURE you use a lot of teflon tape on the non-tapered pipe fittings. Pipe dope liquifies on the hot side. On the plus side, non-tapered thread to pipe thread adapters are included in the box.

Nice unit. Love the way the digital thermostat lights up only when you're adjusting it. That's smart. I'm using it to supply 4 sinks that happen to be closely located as a consequence of how my house is laid out. After using it for over a year, my gut feel is that it would be inadequate for a shower. But wonderful for sinks especially if the pipe length is short. I've calibrated it for Warm. That way turning on a sink's Hot valve gives me quick warm water with no fiddling!
