“I installed the product on the cold water supply to my two hot water tanks--an 80 gallon tempering tank and a 50 gallon hot water heat pump. The product works well as advertised. I wish that the instruction sheet was a little more comprehensive and went into more detail on alternative applications. One shortcoming is that the sensor board is quite small and light weight. Keeping it in a flat position on the floor with the wiring attached to it is difficult.”
“I ordered this system to prevent water leaks from damaging my raised vinyl-covered wood floor. I never had a washing machine valve leak in 40 years at my residence until I installed these valves. This system caused two separate leaks which ruined my subfloor. The system was easily installed, but after installation I frequently checked for leaks for several days. The good news was my floor was already ruined which required replacement of subfloor and vinyl. The bad news is I don't know if the system will leak again after some time or even if the system works. If you have the temerity to purchase this system, I suggest you replace the provided hose washers. I haven't had a leak for over two weeks.”

“Had licensed plumber install this 3 years ago when installing a new water heater. Initially tested it with water and it worked okay. I test it once or twice a year when I change the backup batteries. At the end of the third year, it would not close the valve. This is installed in the copper piping and it should last more than 3 years.”
