“Have installed countless of these in last 6 years. I love them, they make wiring easy and clean looking. (If you use them the first time, they don't work like Honeywell. They are capacitor driven, so it takes 30-45 seconds before they close the end switch!). However, This last batch though was noisy! I hope TACO isn't outsourcing or dropping QA all the while raising prices. The costs of these have increased quite a bit in the last couple years. I always trusted them and TACO in general. I'll use them again, but I'll be keeping a close watch on the quality next time.”

“These work extremely well until the chrome plating eventually wears off the ball-valve (then they piddle-leak), so I have to replace them every 2-4 years. It's helpful to install unions on both the inlet/outlet sides to make replacement simple.”
