“I was looking for a zone valve control that could be mounted in a remote manifold location and that could communicate with a switching relay. This product does exactly that. It runs my 2 zones that each have multiple valves on the manifold and sends a signal back to the Taco 6-zone switching relay (SR506-EXP-4) that is in my mechanical room which controls the pumps and boiler. I have another 6-zone valve control located in a different remote manifold location in my house that does the same thing.”
“While the ZVC403-4 is a replacement for QVC403 (The picture is an older model ZVC403), it's got a few extra features, so download the manual to review while they delivers. Taco even made the holes to mount this in the exact same location and dimension so it was a direct swap out. Saturday 9 am I had diagnosed the voltage on my old ZVC403 was the source of my heating problems, by 8 pm they had delivered the package, and within 30 minutes it was installed and working like magic.”
