Valve Control Module with Priority, 3-Zone, 120 VAC Reviews

I have a three zone system and installed new smart thermostats. Without being a professional HVAC, it took me an hour to connect all leads following the instructions. Everything is working fine and can be easily upgraded if needed.

Makes control system for hot water heat very simple to wire. No need for circulator or burner relays... they are built-in.

I've had the 6-zone version at my house that has been working great. I bought this one for my dad's house when we replaced his heating system.

I'm using two zones at the moment and the zone valve control is working well to manage Honeywell 4-wire valves.

I just installed it yesterday and ran it through its course. It seemed like it all worked. We'll see this winter when the zone valves call for heat if it all works, I hope... Well constructed.

The Taco valve controller was exactly what I needed to upgrade my thermostats to 3-wire (with common) and fix a wiring problem that could have damaged my boiler. The original thermostat wires connected directly to the zone valves, with the two valve open wires connected directly to the boiler TT input without isolation. (Don't do this!) Now the new thermostats and valves connect to the zone controller terminal strips, with an isolated TT connection for the boiler. I removed the old 24V AC transformer & box, and wired the 120V AC to the zone controller. Works perfectly. The LED zone indicator lights are convenient for confirming system operation.
