It is a good valve but taco valves take a long time to open the head is easy to change with just a twist.

Pretty straight forward and common zone valve. Price was good.

I replaced my old B&G Modulates with these, and have been trouble free for several seasons. The only thing is they cycle slowly which causes the relay on my Aquastat to chatter until the circuit either makes or breaks.

The actuator (head) of one of our 4 zones got tired. I bought this item as a replacement. It was pretty much plug-and-play -- swapped the old unit out, this unit in, and connected the wires. Heat works again. Unfortunately, I had to buy the whole unit, and ended up with the solid copper base valve sitting in a drawer in the garage. I wish the actuator were sold separately.
