1" 2-Way Hydronic Zone Valve, 7 Cv, 24 VAC Reviews

4.8 Rating 76 Reviews
The seat assemblies start to leak after 3+ years. I believe that the copper bellows that keeps the piston watertight just starts to breakdown. Taco fails to redesign it. The assy. costs as much as the valve, so if you get the whole valve and take out the seat assy., you must recycle all the brass on the outside. It's a poor and costly design and not worth the trouble for the long haul.

This product we use on our water source heat pump and it works great and is very easy to install. We searched all the local stores and the price they charged was 3 times the price we paid for it through PEX. Also they were very prompt on the process and shipping of our order..

Well made item for a legacy system. Marine brass sure beats plastic. Even the screws are of first class quality making repair possible.

This control valve works great for me in diverting water to fill a cistern tank. It does, however, start leaking from the 'plunger' gaskets after about 2-3 years in my particular application. I don't know why. Could be the water, which is only 'borderline' hard.

It worked, I didn't like that I had to ask a representative at Lowe's plumbing section to get it from a cage. I guess customers pilfer them frequently. Small + expensive = pilferable.
