Bought as a spare as I just had a boiler with these installed.

These control heads are on the heater zones in my house. The originals were pretty old and stopped working. The plumber offered to replace them at $280 each. I found these and did it myself saving over $200 each! Very easy to install. A 1/8th twist and the controller is on the valve. Then just transfer the control wiring to the new same spots on the new controller and you're golden!

I replaced one last year after 20 plus years of continuous use. It was time to change the second one. Simply shut off the circulator switch on the boiler. 1/2 turn to remove the old valve, and let it hang by the wires (it's light). Put the new valve in place BEFORE wiring it. 1/2 turn to lock it in. Then move the wires one by one from the old to the new valve. A Philips head screwdriver is all that's needed. The old one lasted 20 plus years, I'm hoping to get similar results.

After understanding this part. I had to move a piece from the front of my old taco value in order to replace the new value.

Expensive zone valve, but if you need it, you need it.

This product is essential for my heating system and I am very pleased with the product and the delivery. I would definitely order this item again and if I do it will be my third order. Thanks.
