“I ordered 2 units and one was defective. Easy to install, no need for a plumber, remove wires by unscrewing the screws, twist clockwise and pull unit, reverse steps when installing new unit (operator).”
“Purchased to replace my 47-year-old original Tacos. One was leaking but still worked. I had thought about the repair kit, but changed the entire valve assemblies instead. Great value.”
“I zoned my 3-level house with these valves and they work great. The only issue is to make sure which type of thermostat you use if you are also using the TACO zone valve controller. I used Honeywell round stats and learned they were "power robbing" which required additional transorbs to make everything work properly. Transformers may be necessary in certain applications.”
“Great valves,,,exactly the same as the ones I bought 34 years ago. Installed a new boiler so I thought I would replace the zone valves also. Function perfectly.”
“The product cannot stand water with minerals in it, and Taco's guarantee is worthless according to the Chicago areas rep, the seat sticks, you just buy a new one. Taco won't help. Design-wise I can't help, all I know is some last a couple of months, some last years.”
