“I installed the cartridge successfully and it worked great for about a month, until it started leaking. I followed all instructions regarding lubrication of the cartridge and cleaning the pipe to remove old grease, and I took care not to damage it during the installation. I was unable to adjust the position of the cartridge to stop the leak, and ended up re-installing the original one.I thought buying a Moen manufactured cartridge would guarantee no leaks. I will follow up with Moen about the 1 year warranty.5/13/17Moen customer service responded quickly, and are sending a new valve. I will update after it's installed.”
