20 Gal. Water Pressure Well Tank Reviews

4.9 Rating 158 Reviews
Could have been packaged better the bottom lip was deformed in transit. It just sits in the bottom of the cardboard box w/o foam support. Design changes added a rolled lip as apposed to a straight lip w/nylon insulator (stronger design). No insulator on the replacement model. Had to put a block of wood underneath which raised the existing application which added extra work to the project to realignment of plumbing.

replace a fifteen year old pressure tank with this one. It was delivered on time and in good shape. Installation was straight forward and I did it myself. I built up the tee fitting and pressure switch/gauge/drain on the work bench and installed with plumbers tape and putty. No leaks. It worked exactly as designed first time out and really went a long way to cleaning up the taste of my water.

My old bladder tank, Flotec, only lasted 5 years. Other reviewers said Amtrol is quality, so hoping to get much longer out of this one. Install was easy!

I purchased this to install on the output side of my water radon system. These amtrol tanks are some of the better ones you can buy if not the best. Good quality. Made in USA. Not a whole lot to say about it except it works great and gives me some extra capacity before the pump needs to kick on again. I have a lesser quality Well Mate tank on my well pump and when it dies I will be replacing it with this same product.

Working well (tee he) . I adjusted the tank pressure to 28# to work better with the 30-50# pressure switch. When I installed this tank added a union in line to ease replacement next time which I hope will not be for several years. I saved some extra by purchasing though plumbingsupplyandmore warehouse, tank was perfectly new.

Had a smaller version of this tank which lasted a mere thirty years. It's in a well-pit, which presents its own set of problems, but thankfully this was a very clean swap. By the time this one needs replacing, it'll be someone else's problem. Quality product!
