20 Gal. Water Pressure Well Tank Reviews

4.9 Rating 158 Reviews
... but i am unsure after installing that it was worth the extra money over cheaper ones. I purchased based on numerous reviws saying was much better and i suppose only the test of time will say that for sure but it is far more expensive than the waterworks version and the only difference in actual use readily apparent is that I could have purchased a much larger tank therefore reduced pump wear and tear for the same or less money than this 20 gallon (net water) tank that cost $200....I cannot say there was anything at all "wrong" with this tank- and perhaps it will last many more years- but my old tank was over 20 years old so it is rare that a tank goes bad even if cheap - there are not any mechanical parts- I was sucked in by many high reviews praising quality -0 and I bought but after installing I am less than convinced it is any better. It was properly pressurized and no hassle to put in - but i could have got a 40 gallon bigger tank for the same money for the hassle of 15 minutes setting air pressure and the pump has to cycle noticeably more often due to the smaller capacity. There is no better water pressure at faucet level with this tank set at 40-60 than my old bigger tank set at 30-50. This tank does what it is supposed and if it last 20 years like my old cheaper style tank then it will still have only done what it was supposed to but cost significantly more.

We got this well tank to replace the original tank of the same make and model that was installed in1979. If the original tank lasted 37 years, we hope this same model will last just as long. It was fairly easy to install without having to hire a plumber.

I priced pressure tanks at the big box stores, and this one beat them with no problem. My existing tank was the same model and lasted 40 years, so I believe this one should last just as long. Delivery was great too.

Works good for me. Hooked it to a 1 hp wayne water pump. I had to increase the factory pressure setting on the pump to get more water into the tank. Very satisfied
