Automatic Condensate Removal Pump with Safety Switch, 65 gph Reviews

My A/C's condensate drain line did not have an easy route. It required two 90 degree turns and did not have a consistent downward slope. As a result it would get clogged up. Eventually my shop vac wasn't able to clear it. So I purchased one of these pumps. That allowed me to pump the water up the wall, then run the line to the exit point with proper sloping. I have not had a single clog in nearly 3 years. The included tubing is transparent and you clearly see there is no build up whatsoever. After nearly three years the pump was still working just fine, but it started to sound like maybe it was going to evetually die. Rather than waiting for that to happen I decided to proactively replace it. Switching out the old one was simple since I just connected it to the same drain tube.I could not be happier with these pumps. If I get another 3 years of service out of this new one, it's well worth the money.

I recently purchased the Little Giant VCMA-15ULST 115 Volt Condensate Pump for my HVAC system, and it has been a reliable and efficient addition. Here’s my honest review:Pros: 1. Performance: This pump performs exceptionally well in removing condensate from my HVAC system. It operates quietly and efficiently, ensuring that there are no water buildup issues. 2. Build Quality: The construction of the pump is solid, with durable materials that seem built to last. The pump includes a safety switch to prevent overflow, which adds an extra layer of protection. 3. Installation: Installing the pump was straightforward. The included instructions were clear, and the necessary fittings made the process quick and easy. 4. Versatility: This pump is versatile and can be used in a variety of applications, including HVAC systems, dehumidifiers, and other equipment that generates condensate.Cons: 1. Noise Level: While the pump is relatively quiet, it is not completely silent. You can hear it running, especially in a quiet environment, but it’s not overly disruptive. 2. Maintenance: The pump requires occasional maintenance to ensure it continues to operate efficiently. This includes cleaning the reservoir and checking for any clogs in the tubing. 3. Cord Length: The power cord is somewhat short, which might require you to use an extension cord depending on the location of your outlet.Overall:The Little Giant VCMA-15ULST 115 Volt Condensate Pump is a dependable and efficient solution for managing condensate. Its ease of installation, solid build quality, and reliable performance make it a worthwhile investment. While it has a few minor drawbacks, such as noise level and the need for occasional maintenance, the pros far outweigh the cons. I highly recommend this pump for anyone needing a robust and efficient condensate removal solution.I hope this review helps!

I installed it exactly as the instructions showed and it works great. One thing to keep in mind is that when the pump turns on, it only runs about 8 seconds. There will always be condensate water in the pump reservoir. As it fills up, the float switch will activate at a certain level and turn the pump on. As the water is pumped out the float switch will deactivate the pump and then the pump sits off until more condensate water comes into the reservoir. The pump is very quiet when running. I would recommend this unit to everyone.

I noticed some water on the ground around my furnace and upon further inspection found my condensate pump wasn’t functioning properly. A quick search lead me to this exact replacement, it was able to be delivered that day and was a night and day difference from the old 20 year old pump it replaced. It’s whisper silent now and works flawlessly.

Our old ac pump broke and leaked water all over. Thank goodness we found this exact one and received it just in time for a heatwave.

This pump was an exact replacement for the condensate pump on my furnace/AC unit. It took longer to find the pliers to remove the electrical spades, than it did to remove the old wires, and connect the new ones. My recommendation is to make sure your power is off to both units, and to change the wires one at a time. Once connected to your AC condensate hose, and your electrical, pour some water into the pump to make sure it's working. I'm very happy with this replacement pump.

This is a life saver! My old condensation pump went out during an extremely 🔥 hot week. I easily replaced it with this model. I used the old fittings and had this and the air conditioner up and running in under 5 minutes. I am a middle aged woman who has never done this before and I had no trouble installing it.

I was able to replace the failed pump with an exact fit pump. The original had failed after only five years. This has been operating well for about a month. If it is plumbed correctly, it takes less than a minute to replace.
