Absolutely love it. However on unboxing we noticed what seemed to be a pen mark on the back of the wallet.
There is absolutely no way we can move it which is a shame because it spoils what is otherwise a magnificent product.”
Hi Richard - sorry to hear you are unhappy with the wallet. But that is not pen-marking. That is scarring on the animal hide.
Because full-grain leather comes from the topmost layer of the hide, it's always unique. It may have slight imperfections and marks that have developed over the course of the animal's life. Over time the wallet will develop patina and markings will fade as the leather gets softer and darker.

“Received the wallet within the specified time stated. Really happy with it. Quality stands out immediately. This wallet is built to last. Beautiful materials and that really lovely leather smell. I like minimalist wallets so this suits me for everyday use. It will hold currency but not a lot, so if you carry a lot of wallet litter you might want to look at their larger offerings. I also like their bill fold (for when you need to carry a bit more) so I might drop a few hinds at home for a Christmas present!! I had my initials engraved on and they did a good job of it. “I purchased the 5 card leather wallet including the engraving option. However, there was an issue with the length of my full name. My full name is too long by one or two characters so I created a very simple email that earned me a fast response and my full name on the wallet. The customer service is as great as the wallet and that is saying something. The build quality on the wallet is absolutely superb. It is 100 times better than any wallet I have ever owned or even touched in the past. The leather looks, smells, and feels amazing. The wear that occurs with a wallet such as this creates a unique look that is paralleled in character. I truly believe this wallet has the potential to last me a lifetime. If there was one thing I wish I could change on the wallet it is a simple slot that could hold my ID. Whenever I am asked to present it or I need it out for something it can be tricky to spot and get out. I know most ID card slots have a cutout that allows you to use your thumb for easier accessing. Maybe this could be considered in future designs? I'm not entirely sure of how it would look or the level of functionality it would actually provide so it is not, by any means, a deal breaker.
