“I got a a few other wallets somewhere else and was disappointed by the thickness of the actual leather. Either it was too thick and unwieldy or too thin.
But when I got this and the Driftwood Flat wallet with QuickDraw pocket, I was Really Happy! The thickness is just perfect and they feel solid and high quality as heck! Plus with handmade items you don't see the battle scars of a sewing machine in the leather! I have OCD and I understand that there will be imperfections in leather. That's natural! But when in the process of being made and imprints and stuff get on it, usually that would be sold in outlets or something right?
So when I saw that these wallets were well made with no imprints made from tooling and etc., that means these were Made Right and a lot of care went into them.
The edges were almost seamless in some parts making it look like one piece of thick leather. I was glad I got this instead of the older version because if it were any bigger it'd be too thick. But then you'd have an heirloom built like a tank of a wallet! Now that I think of it, I kinda want that too lol!
These are my first completely handmade wallets. I got a Sa******ck Medium Bifold and a N*******r wallet. But never used them because of a few issues. But I'll definitely be using these! But I'm a "George Constanza" Wallet guy, so I will be using both at the same time until Mr. Popov develops a 6 Card Bifold with Hidden Pockets (wink* wink*)!
