The first thing I did was the smell test (ala Steve Montelli). Amazingly fragrant and soft to the touch. The design and stitching are solid as a rock. I have been using the wallet for a month now and it has stretched easily to carry 6 cards inside and one more outside along with up all of the cash I need. It carries everything I need daily. One interesting property of the Horween Chromexcel is its ability to scuff and easily be corrected by rubbing my thumb over the area. You should read about that leather. “I am very happy with the wallet I received. The pockets are pretty tight initially, but they loosen up after a few weeks. I purchased the driftwood with blue stitching and at first the stitching was very dark colored but has become more blue over the past couple of weeks. The only problem is that at the edge of the wallet, two pieces of leather are separating. This hasn't been a huge problem so far, but I will update if it worsens over time.”
