“It serves its purpose but only that. The item I received had a faded line along the spine or crease of the wallet. I sent email about it to customer service and was told that it was normal and called stretching.I was offered a refund or exchange but was told that another would probably have the same effect. I inquired as to why none of the photos on the website show this “effect” but was not given an acceptable response. Not worth the effort of sending back. It is a well made wallet no doubt about it but if you don’t mind a faded stripe or two toned item it’s a great buy. For the money spent I would expect one to look as nice as it performs”
Appreciate the review Robert - what we're referring to is the "pull-up" effect. This is when the oils and waxes move within the leather wherever there is creasing, stretching, or pulling. And yes, this will happen on all our leathers (except black). Overtime as patina develops your leather will darken up and while the pull-up effect will still happen, it will be much more subtle.
“Had ordered 5 card wallet, after ordering talked to Ms Sarah to print my name and charge me difference to my card. After 4 days she had texted me back to say sorry that they already shipped my wallet. I don’t understand I had talked to her within 5 minutes after I had placed my order. I am not sure will order again any product unless my problem get resolved.”
“This is the finest wallet I've ever used. Popov uses thick leather, and this makes the wallet durable and feel excellent, but I still don't feel that this is a "front pocket" wallet. Regardless, the wallet feels so nice to use and is so nice that I still carry it everyday. In the summer months I switch to something slimmer, but anytime I wear a jacket or carry a bag this wallet comes with me.”
“This is perhaps the best wallet you can carry in your front pocket. Sometimes we all need to take the bulky one out and carry a few cards and some folded cash. Well this is the one for that. The leather obviously is the best quality the construction is great no fear this will ever wear out.”
