“The Leather on this A5 Journal looks & smells great. The front card slots are great & the stitches are as well. My disappointments come in at the split in the back cover for the elastics from a journal, I am having issues with it laying flat, right now it is but if you take the journal out & then insert a new journal it takes a while. I never could get the elastic to work right with it pulled through the slot, so I have it tucked into the back of the journal. My biggest disappointment is the pen holder, the videos I watched all had a double loop with worked not only as a holder for the pen but also a way to keep the journal closed, disappointed in the change. If I had known for sure about the pen loop change I might have reconsidered my order.”
